Here's my finished poppy from MAGKnits. JC (or as he prefers to be called: JC Super Batman) wanted to model it for you all AND show you his little man.

Here's another picture of it pinned to my BoogaBag:

I think it's pretty cute! I think the next one I make will have a little bit larger center. I had a hard time covering the ends of the petals with this one - but it could just be my sewing skills at fault. I like it though. It will look really cute pinned to the front of my Little (not so) Black Top.
On other knitting fronts, I think I am going to try my hand at kool-aid dying. I'd like to make some pink stripey socks and I think that would be a good way to go about doing it. The problem is finding the yarn to do it with. But we have some Lorna's Laces in the store that's already pink. I could use some red to make it stripey. Right? Or maybe I should just put this on the back burner until I have some of my other 50,000 knitting projects finished. Who knows!
I saw a sign in Michael's (the store) saying they were looking for a teacher for Knitting/Crochet classes. Does that mean you need to be able to knit AND crochet? Or just one or the other? I am thinking about calling - any thoughts on this?
Spring Break officially started for me at 2:00 this afternoon so I have 10 days ahead of me to do nothing but knit and work (which is knitting-related). FUN!!! Let's see how much I can get done by then!

Oh my god! Yours is the first poppy I have seen knitted. It looks nicer than mine, too. Actually your pretty blue poppy looks perfect. Thank you for knitting my pattern!! As a novice designer, I could not imagine any one wanting to make my design and thought Kerrie was either very nice to me or very desperate.

That poppy on the bag is a great idea for spring. I recently made a Booga Bag, but the colors are dark and somber. This gives me an excuse to make another bag for Spring, and add a pretty poppy.

Okay - I have several people who asked about why my bag looks different so here goes: Instead of casting on 34 stitches, I cast on 45. I don't remember how many rows I worked in garter stitch but it was about half as wide as it was long. Then I just worked up from there. Also - on my handles - I just ran them through the sides and knotted the ends. I only did this because I did not have enough yarn to make them correctly - but I liked the way it turned out. Hope this helps guys! BTW - I used 3 skeins of Lamb's Pride Bulky.

Hey there! The Michael's in my town was also looking for knitting and crocheting instructors. I went in and here's the scoop. They are two separate classes, so you don't need to know both. But the whole schedule and class syllabus (as it were) were totally unplanned. They didn't have their s**t together at all, and I personally could not work like that. I believe I'm running out of room, but email me if you'd care to hear the whole lowdown.

Your bag and that poppy are GREAT! I am definitely going to modify one of the booga bags I plan on making. Thanks for the info on your modifications!
